LOVE IS OUR MISSION.
This “Formation and Spirituality Day” has been devised to support teachers of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Maitland/Newcastle, NSW, Australia for their ongoing accreditation and formation. It is included here so that others may benefit if they so desire.
It includes a series of videos, and reflection activities. It also includes a rationale and a format for running the day.
LOVE IS OUR MISSION reflects on the meaning of “mission” and draws upon music, art and story to deepen one’s appreciation.
This video LOVE IS OUR MISSION – PART 1 THE COSMIC NARRATIVE contemplates “mission” from a broad perspective and embraces the maxim “The Church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a Church.”
The second video is called Love is Our Mission THE CHRIST NARRATIVE and wrestles with the question, “Why evangelise for Christ?”
The third and forth videos in the series are called Love is our Mission THE CHURCH NARRATIVE and explore what it means to be authentic Church.
